Me and my friends have what we call the Atty G Theory of Marriage– that most people, more often than not, get married not with the person they really want to be with for the rest of their life, but with the person who is there at the right moment, and right time (hence the proliferation of those coined as The One That Got Away).
There are various reasons for this: probably because it’s the next most logical thing to do or the biological clock is ticking or the Romeo-and-Juliet-West-Side-Story situation. Anyhow, whatever the reason… this theory is just so sad.
Bursting my bubble of fairy tale romances, this really happens. I’ve known a number of people who are part of the Atty G stats.
Sigh.
So am thankful that there are friends who show me that there are happy-endings.
And I do hope I find mine.
Was surfing and going through blogs online and I came upon this from Jayvee’s blog.

Hits exactly where its supposed to.
Today was one of those days. =(
Am reaching out…
… hold me.

Am free-falling…
… catch me.

Help me find Middleground.
Impulsive, spur-of-the-moment, spontaneous, risk-taking carefree me.

The lake, the lake. Pancakes and coffee.

Dreams, crosses, cotton candy clouds and twilight.

Quiet. Comfort. Calm.

Tomorrow another today starts.
That’s the family + Justin.

Loved Eden Park and Skyriding (even Indiana Jones was fun!).
Bottomless Durian (love the fruit!).
Fresh fish (the best Sashimi cuts ever!).
Jack’s Ridge (and the citylights).
The Albino python (Cheesecake daw in the Phil Star, o. Hahaha).

Till next time. =D
Maybe you’re going, maybe you’re gone…
… or maybe I am.
Currently enjoying waking up early morning to visit the Salcedo Market on Saturdays and the Legaspi Market on Sundays.
It’s a breath of fresh air walking the nearly empty streets of Makati. A good workout, at that, too. Gives you all the license you need to splurge on the good eats at these markets. =D
Am loving the crepes made by those Frenchmen at Gigi La Crepes, the homemade natural frozen yoghurt aptly named FroYo’s, the fresh fruits and fish (mmmm!), the kakanin (!), and sweets. Oh, it’s a gastronomic haven. ;)
Am biatching. I can’t believe we missed this.
Just earlier today I mentioned to Dhon that we had to go online to check the Labfest’s schedule. Lo, and behold, I find out today was the last day.
Grrrr.
No one else to blame but ourselves.
Next year then?
Sigh.
Here I go again with my sporadic blogs.
Guess I update my notebook more (it’s a lot lot lot more handy).
Anyhow, I can’t believe it’s mid-year. Time flies sooo fast.
Lots of things have changed, and am glad some things don’t (at least I have something to lean on to when the going gets tough, and the tough can’t go shopping). Haha. =P

My "Writings on the Wall" musing:
I look in the mirror and what do I see?
I see a girl but I don’t see Me.
